Task Vault is a habit tracking app that helps you build positive routines by rewarding yourself for consistency. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data Task Vault collects, how it is stored, and your rights regarding that data.
Data Collection
Task Vault does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data with third parties. All data is created by you and stays on your device or in your personal iCloud account.
What data does the app store?
• Habit categories and habits you create (names, icons, goals, rewards)
• Completion logs (dates and counts of habit completions)
• Expenses you manually enter (names, amounts, dates)
• App preferences (such as whether you have completed the onboarding tutorial)
Where is data stored?
• On your device using local storage (UserDefaults)
• In your personal iCloud account using iCloud Key-Value Store and iCloud Documents, if you are signed in to iCloud
iCloud syncing allows your data to persist if you delete and reinstall the app. This data is stored in your personal iCloud account and is governed by Apple's iCloud terms and privacy policy.
Data We Do NOT Collect
• No personal information (name, email, phone number)
• No location data
• No usage analytics or tracking
• No advertising identifiers
• No health or biometric data
• No data is sent to any server owned or operated by the developer
Third-Party Services
Task Vault does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only external service used is Apple's iCloud for data persistence, which is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Data Sharing
Task Vault does not sell, rent, or share your data with anyone. The export feature allows you to manually share your own data (via text or CSV) using the iOS share sheet. This is entirely initiated and controlled by you.
Children's Privacy

Data Deletion
Since all data is stored locally on your device and in your personal iCloud account:
• To delete all local data: Delete the app from your device.
• To delete iCloud data: Go to Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Manage Storage and remove Task Vault data.
